At St. Germain Insurance Inc. a way we like to explain Automobile or car insurance coverage is to divide it into four sections.

The first section is the liability coverage. It covers your financial responsibility for injuring other people.

The second section is personal injury protection (PIP), and medical payments.  It covers you and your passengers in your vehicle for Medial expenses, lost wages, and replacement services. Both liability coverage and PIP coverage are required in the state of Massachusetts.

The third section is Uninsured and Underinsured automobile coverage. This coverage pays for damages for bodily injury as the result of certain accidents caused by someone who does not have enough insurance.

The fourth section of auto insurance covers the car(s) itself: comprehensive coverage reimburses losses from fire, theft, vandalism, or other perils; collision coverage pays to repair losses caused by an accident. Often this coverage is mandated by leasing companies or banks. Additional coverage such as rental reimbursement, towing coverage along with optional insurance carrier endorsements such as; disappearing deductible, accident forgiveness, gap coverage, new car replacement, pet coverage

Utilizing high deductibles on the physical damage coverage’s can help reduce premiums. If you carry umbrella insurance, you must be sure that you carry the required amount of basic liability insurance to avoid a gap in coverage for a serious accident.

Since 1966 St. Germain Insurance Inc. has provided the highest quality insurance protection for an ever-growing number of clients and companies in the Pioneer Valley, Quabbin Valley, and Quaboag Hills Region.
